Property Finance Consultant (Mortgage Broker)

We are growing fast, we need a new broker to join our great team and help us expand even more.

Job Description:

  • Finding customers who need assistance with home or investment mortgages.
  • Building up a relationship with these customers.
  • Providing recommendations and assistance to the customer to help them find the most appropriate loan for their needs.
  • In conjunction with an assistant, applying to the banks for the loan on behalf of the customer, gaining approval, and following the loan through to settlement.
  • Providing ongoing contact and support to the customer once the loan is settled (ensures repeat business & this is why trailing commission is paid by the lender).

  • A lap top, vehicle and $3k for training and software.
  • Strong personal drive.

  • A strong interest in the property market.
  • A firm understanding of basic finance principals (interest rates, repayments etc.).
  • An ability to learn: product knowledge, new sales techniques and business skills.
  • A "Go Get Them" attitude.
  • A tertiary level of education preferred.

Responsibilities would include: Client satisfaction, PA tasks, Loan management and general office admin.
